Sad face

I'm going to China this week.
I'm packing my bags and heading off for 2 1/2 weeks. It's a business trip, shopping for my new homewares store. That's right, 1 1/2 weeks of shopping.

Everyone keeps saying things like 'Half your luck!' and 'Oh you poor thing!' and I know I'm lucky to get to do this sort of thing, but I'm so not excited this time! I'm leaving my kids home with my husband. I can't bear thinking about leaving them! It makes me so sad!

The last trip was so exciting as we all went as a family, and we will probably do that every couple of years, but every trip in between will be just my parents and I. I'm trying to look at the positives - like I get my own hotel room! And of course I'll be in another country. It's a country that I love so that's a bonus. But still...

And then this happened last week:
Yes we did have a massive hailstorm which resulted in our streets looking snow covered, but that's not what I'm talking about.
Jesse broke his collarbone. I'm slightly worried about leaving him in this condition, but so grateful it didn't happen while I was away.
The poor boy, but he has handled it so well! Thankfully it was a clean break and the bone didn't move so it should be quick to heal. He got to have the day off school and see all this hail so he was happy!

This is seriously getting me down! I havn't even felt like reading or writing blogs lately. Now that's sad when that happens!

I don't think I'll have time to post before I leave on Friday, so this is farewell for a while.
Blogger is banned in China, and while I can use a proxy site to get around the ban, I can't post photos. I tried last time and they didn't work. Will give it another go next time, but don't like my chances! I'll have lots of things to post when I get back I'm sure!

Chow for now!

Oh, and by the way, this was my 100th post! Seems like a milestone so thought I'd share! Woot woot!
