Hiya!
It's been a little while!
Things have been, as always, busy around here.
Sure, I've had the occasional moment where I could have been blogging, but, truth be told,
I just couldn't be bothered.
In the past I've beaten myself up for being absent from this space, like I've committed myself to something that I can't keep up with.
Now I have a new way of thinking about it.
I've decided to treat it like an old friend.
You know the type that you might not see for a long long time, but when you finally do catch up, you just pick up where you left off, and there's no hard feelings, and no guilt.
So, what's been happening?
Well, there's work of course. Which I'm totally loving.
We're looking into a website at the moment so I have lots of work ahead of me with product photography and figuring out how I want the online shop to look.
I'm really excited about that, it's the only way to reach a wider audience.
This small city that we live in really feels like a little country town sometimes in that it is hard to break into with a new business.
People are stuck in their ways and new things are overlooked for the known, the comfortable.
I'm exited about the future of my little shop!
Ben has been super busy at home, building us a huge ace decking in the lower part of our yard.
I'm loving it!
I've been dreaming of the summers to come when it's all finished, entertaining friends and family under a ginormous umbrella, cooking pizzas in our pizza oven.
Oh, and I'll also have a new kitchen by then.
Ace.
Four years of unfinished backyard, almost done, hells yeah!!
We've just finished school holidays, which I always love.
I love the break in routine, and having the kids around more.
I worked for the first part of each week, then the kids and I drove to Ocean Grove for the weekends.
We hung out with my parents, not doing a great deal.
I got to ride my new bike Ethel, which is a mint green vintage style beauty.
I cruised the streets of the caravan park with the kids, and Ethel turned heads,
many people yelling out "Cool bike!"
I havn't rode a bike in years until now, and I am enjoying it greatly.
Well, it's been nice catching up old friend.
There's more to tell, but it will have to wait- I'm a nana these days and it's after 10! So tired!
